The main exhibition held in Castello, in the halls of the Arsenale and Biennale Gardens, alternates annually between art and architecture. In 1954 the island San Giorgio Maggiore provided the venue for the first Japanese Noh theatre shows in Europe. This book was created for that event. Three fold out pages list the schedule of shows at the event. Then Noh dance is explained and traslated from Japanese to Italian and English opposite each photo. Very good, printed on one side of folded Japanese paper. Ten [10] tipped in B&W photos. Item #3287
