Washington DC: August 20, 1942. 5.75" x 9", 8vo, Good content on Supreme Court of the United States letterhead. Ink smudge near closing, but not on signature, two small dots at top margin and two small remnants of adhesive on rear. A polite, apolitical reply to a young woman who was exercising her democracy. Frankfurter was a graduate of Harvard Law School in 1906 and appointed to the Supreme Court by President Roosevelt in January 1939. Fine. Item #2627
