This is the first photograph made since her marriage to President Cleveland on June 2, '86. Small puncture whole in bottom right corner. Includes full signature of Mrs. Cleveland (4" in length) on "Executive Mansion" calling card, "Frances F.[Folsom] Cleveland"

Frances Clara Cleveland Preston (née Folsom; 1864 – 1947) was First Lady of the United States from 1886 to 1889 and again from 1893 to 1897 as the wife of President Grover Cleveland. She remained active in civic issues following the Presidents passing, though not always on the right side of history, being actively involved against women's suffrage. Very good. Item #2025
