Includes frontispiece and five full page illustrations as well as many line illustrations by Oliver Herford. Previous bookseller note and price on ffe, small inventory number stamped on rep, otherwise clean and mostly well bound. Cover has edge wear and early wear through at two corners, wear at head and foot of spine, rubbing on back cover. This collection of period poetry was the first illustrated issue of the heralded verse which became a high school classic read and most famous of Masters' scores of issues. Very good / not issued.
